More Movin Morgans!
They are just moving around the country! Congratulations to the new owners of our wonderful Sable foals, we know you will enjoy them for years to come!.
And arriving in Naches Washington are 2 of my big black beauties, Arr Missy (Magic) and Snowdancers Winter Whimsy. Blaine and Beth Rhoads are the happy new owners and Blaine called and said he really likes both of them and that Magic really stands out in his herd as she is such a big imposing mare. Have fun with them!
"update Feb 2/2004,"
We are riding
Magic now, we took our time with her and she really came around good, my
brothers'
11 year old daughter is handling her alot with her dad's help, Magic and
Jessicia seem to have bonded really well. Winter Whimsey is just as loving
as can
be, I was talking to my brother tonight and he said they rode her yesterday
lightly and his son commented what a joy she was to ride, she only requires the
lightest touch to turn or stop. Thanks Blaine
Update - Nov 5,
2004 - Winter had an incredibly beautiful black
colt, we turned down a sale of this colt to a family in Penn who wanted
him for
a stud. I think we are going to retain him for our own herd stud, he
is so
perfect in looks, confirmation and especially in attitude, Winter Whimsy
and
Kruizer did very well. Just saw your new pic's of Kruizer he's a
very
handsome fella.
.
gone to Salt Lake Utah is Sable Knight Dreamer (formally Sable Jack Flash).
He is now making his home with Becky Pittenger and she told me she wanted to name him Knight Dreamer as he is her Dream come true. Since I hadn't sent in his papers yet that was just fine with me. Have fun with him Becky!
Update - Oct 6th, 2003
Just thought I would send you and update on "Buddy".
He has settled in very well, and I am having a great time with him. He is
learning very quickly the groundwork I am working with him on. My 2
mares were in heat a week ago, and teasing him over the fence, but he did not
know what it was about yet. (good thing:)).
I hope all is well with you and everyone up there. I will send you some
pictures when I get my digital camera back.
Have a great week,
Becky
update april 2005
It has been a while, but I thought you would like an update. Dreamer is 2½
years old now and doing great. Last fall I had him pulling a training cart
and now am ready to start riding him. I am sending him for 30 days of
training to get him off to the right start. Many people keep telling me
how dangerous a stallion is, but he seems to be following in Boogie and
Kruiser's footsteps. He is a really sweet boy and will hopefully be a
daddy next March/April. Hear are a few pictures of him taken April 28,
2005. He was having a good time playing with Moon in the mud.
I hope all is well with you. I go to the website weekly to see what is new
and exciting.
Thanks again for selling me such a wonderful boy.
Becky

.
Off to Cheyenne Wyoming is my pretty golden boy SABLE GOLDEN SUNDANCER. He is now making his home with Craig and Mary Jobe and they tell me he is fitting right in. Mary sent some pic of him all cleaned up and shinny!

Off to Arco, Idaho is SABLE WILD FANTAZEE to be with Darrell Charlton for awhile before heading off to Florida to be with her new steward Jerry.

And off to Emo, Ontario is Sable Fairy Princess and Sable Captain Cool. These friendly foals are going to first time morgan owners Dan and Elaine Mack. Have fun with them
Update June 2003
"You must be well into foaling by now. Thought I'd send you a recent pic of
Princess and me. She's doing great. She sure likes to be scratched behind the
ears. Captain was gelded a few weeks ago and healed up very well.
Elaine"

.
Ensbrook Asia,
Off to Lexahatchee, Florida to be with Brenda Matusik. I'm sure she will enjoy the warm weather out there! Have fun with your new gal!
Brenda told me she clipped her and she really likes her as she is a very gentle mare to work with.
.
Sable Windspirit Walker
(Kodiak Gold spirit Walker x Snowdancers Windsong Witch)
Pretty black colt has gone to Barbara Laudenslayer in Pennsylvania! Enjoy your new boy!
Barb tells me he is the first one over to the fence when anyone comes out to see the foals! He always was the first one over to check out new people here as well.
.
Sable Black Smoke
(Boogie Beam x Snowdancers Sable Secret)
Black 2002 Colt
gone to Washington! Smoke a big black colt is now making his home with Julia Pitner in Marysville. Have fun with your new boy Julia!
Hi Sandy,
I just wanted to let you know that Smoke is doing great. He's a very sweet boy
who gets along very well with my other ones.
I think he'll be pretty tall. His butt is about 2 in higher than his withers
right now:).
I just love his temperament, he's soo sweet. Thank you so much for such a
wonderful boy.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
Julia
Pictures when he is about 1 1/2 years old holding up a tree :)) He
looks lovely and Julie says he is just a sweetie to work with

Gone to Texas! Nitro (Sable Nightingale) a big black 2001 mare made the long trip down to Houston to be the new best pal of Margie Baily, enjoy your girl!
Sept 2004 - update from Margie.
Sandy,
Remember the Nitro, that came down to Willis, Texas about 2 years ago.
Well she is in the process of being
broke, this is really her 1st day in the saddle with someone on her back.
She
is doing wonderful. She picks up very fast and remembers, My trainer which
is
also a friend of mine, loves her to pieces. She wants the first baby out
of
her. She is just wonderful. She has lost some of her mane and tail
with
trying to adjust to the heat down here. But this year she is much better
with
that. I thought you might like to see some pictures of her. She is so
quiet and a
bit on the lazy side. Which I would rather speed her up, then slow her
down
all the time.
Your decision on picking her for me, was everything I wanted. Take care. Margie

Off to the Big Apple, well ok New York State anyway, HDD Imperil Oreo is now making her home in Leeds, NY with Tracy Selner and is fast becoming a special friend to her kids.
Update Dec 20th - Oreo is doing
very well. She is so much fun! I will get a picture in the mail
to you as soon as I can. I don't have a scanner to E-mail one to you. My
children have ridden her and she was so well behaved. My son Gary, is eight
years old and is disabled. He is in a power wheelchair. He was able to go for
a short ride on her along with me. He had a smile from ear to ear!! I don't
think he ever thought he would be able to get a ride. Oreo was very gentle
and walked nice and slowly for him. His physical therapist says that Oreo
could be a good therapy horse for him. He uses his muscles just keeping his
balance in the saddle. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and
a happy and healthy new year!

Gone to Snohomish, Wa to become pals with Kathryn and Odie Carter is Sable Lucky Rascal, a pretty black 2001 colt.
.
Going way across country to Howell, New Jersey, is Sable Easter Storm, a black 2001 colt. He is going to be a great friend to Nicole
"I just wanted to let you know the
colt is doing great! I've nicknamed him
Zim/Zimmy (after Invader Zim, a show on Nickelodeon). He settled in nicely
and I couldn't ask for more of a personality! He's a ham. He nickers
and
whinnies whenever he sees me coming. Nicole"

Gone to Tujunga, California is this sweetie pie, SABLE JUST ONE KISS. Kessy is going to be Erika Bronstrups new best friend. Here she is with a fuzzy nose of snow. She won't be seeing snow again anytime soon, the lucky gal!
She was very good about me touching her
legs and everything
(under belly too). I little sneaky to catch, but she'll get used to me.
At
least she isn't aggressive.
Sorry for babbling on. I love her so much and thanks a bunch. I look
forward
to doing business with you again in the future.
Erika
(Update, pictures at almost a year)
.
Pictures at her first show - June 2003
She looks so nice and shinny! Erika tells me she did very well!!
Headed south to the fun city of Las Vegas is Snowdancers Raven Rhapsody, a black mare, who is going to become the new best friend of Faith Ptak. I'm betting she will have a good time with her :)
Raven arrived safe &
sound this morning. She is so sweet. She's still not
too sure about the automatic watering system, but I'm sure she will get
used to it. Every time she hits the lever for the water, it makes a sound
and she takes a jump back!! Thanks for the
information, video and name plaque, it was very sweet of you to make that
for her. I will take some pictures this weekend and send you some.
Thanks again for everything.
Faith
(update Raven had a lovely
black filly by Boogie in 2002)

Sable Be Mi Fire is now in Cambridge, Vermont! We had a lovely visit with Tom and Bev and Audra Minor when they drove all that way to pick up their new boy. Have fun with him.
Just thought that we would send
you a note and let you know how much we are
enjoying Fire! He's been such a big sweetheart and so easy to work with. Dad
takes him to get the cows on our dairy farm and we take him on short rides
around the farm. He loves to go and is bold and willing to try new and
different things. Dad has also had a small driving harness on him a few times.
Fire is a very smart horse and a great companion to my dad. We were very
surprised at how well behaved he is for being a stallion. He is quiet ( except
for when the mares are going for a ride without him! ) and just a beautiful
guy. What a great personality! We can't wait for colts from him! Fire is
exactly the kind of horse that we were looking for and well worth the long
trip to Saskatchewan to get him! Thank you so much for raising such fine
horses. It was wonderful meeting you both and Boogie. Here are a few pictures
of Fire taken this July. Take care and thank you again.

Well my lovely boy Sable Rock N Roll and our cute filly Sable Dancing in the Dark are now making their home in Bethlehem, New Hampshire. Dori Derr and Norman Pellietier are giving them a great home and said they were settling in just fine.
"Hi Sandy!
Rocky and Dancin are here! Arrived at 11:45PM safe and sound. They
are just beautiful, and all tucked in for the night with out any trouble.
Rocky seems to be at ease and is settling in. Thanks for all the info
you sent along with them. It's been a pleasure doing business with you! Take
good care, Liz Pelleiter"

" This
wonderful little guy takes up all of my time. He is such a wonderful
horse!! He follows me around like a puppy all the time. He loves
carrots, and we've been working on all of the basics and he's doing very well.
I'll have some pictures taken of us as soon as he'll make friends with the
water hose. He is one dirty little boy! Thank you so much he's a
dream
come true! Thank you, Shelly"
Just got another update on Classy, Jan 13th, 2002
"Classy is doing absolutely wonderful! He is such a big puppy. He is also my new best friend. We spend hours together and he will let me do anything to him. He definitely has his fathers temperament. He is so laid back and easygoing. He looks like his mane and tail may end up dark, maybe even black when he gets older I won't know for sure until next spring. I am so glad I found him and I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world. I'll send you some pictures of him this spring when he loses his fuzzy coat, right now he looks like a big ol teddy bear. Thanks again for my baby, Shelly"
congratulations to Pamela and Stephan Roper of Mountain Home Arkansas who went home with our two lovely gals, Snowdancers Sable Sinner and her 2001 foal Sable Sinner's S'Prize. S. Sable Sinner had a lovely black colt by Boogie in May 2002. They are calling him Cinder.

He's the best.
Sharon
.
"I am so pleased with
Luciano (Sable
Bootscootinboogie). He is out of Boogie and Coal Creek Nancy. I wanted a
nice young colt that was raised in a good environment. Sandy was very
helpful in all my many questions.
I can't even begin to tell you how pleased I am with my colt from Sandy.
He's loving, friendly, fun, sweet, and has very good bone and excellent
quality hoofs. He has been a pleasure to work with. I've had him since he
was five months old and he's 1yr and 4 months now. Sharon"
